Our experience with Kim started 4 years ago, when we relocated to Ottawa and bought a house with her. Knowing what a “little bull” she is in the field, we didn’t hesitate to have her sell our home when it was time to relocate again. Selling in a sellers market, requires nerves of steel. Kim talked us down from the ledge many times, her expert advice, quick responses and selling tactics are hands down, amazing! Her perseverance had our home sell in multiple offers, over asking and setting a new record high for the neighbourhood. Hello, my name is Mark. I am a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, have been serving for 15 years, and between 2018-2021 I was posted to the USA in the state of Maryland. In the summer of 2021, I was posted back to Canada to Ottawa, and due to the Covid pandemic I had to look for and purchase a home virtually. Kim was recommended to me by a friend who had her as his realtor when he purchased his own home in Ottawa. I started chatting to Kim about my needs and wants in a property about 6 months before my move, so I feel that we developed a good rapport. As my first experience in buying a home, purchasing one virtually was a little daunting and more than a little risky, however Kim was very cognisant of this fact, and went well out of her way to ensure I had every piece of information to make the right decision. When purchasing a property from out of the country, you really need to rely on your realtor to give you honest information, and I felt Kim did just that. She would tell me when a property wasn't for me, if she didn't like something, or in contrast, when she thought I would like something. This showed that Kim can easily develop a sense of what her client is looking for in a home. As someone who has worked with the military before, Kim knows the ins and outs of the military moving process, and was able to provide great contacts when it came to house inspections, legal, etc. Kim and I had daily calls about different properties, sometimes seeing multiple houses in one day, utilizing Facetime to see the homes myself. When the time came to make an offer (and there were several), Kim provided sage advice on the market, the area, and what would be a solid number. Kim's efforts paid off when she identified an opportunity for me on the perfect home one Monday morning after looking at multiple other homes over the weekend. If it wasn't for her advice, I am confident I wouldn't have found the perfect home for me. Thanks Kim!
